We all know that volunteering has its perks. Aside from being incredibly beneficial towards the community, it is known to “gift” the volunteer with social skills, organizing skills and many others. But most importantly, it builds up skills that job recruiters are looking for. And that is what ESN Iași is all about, the whole reason behind „The First Step in Career Planning” project, to help our local young community, both students and volunteers, find their perfect job.

With the help of the project, we brought to attention the skills that employers are looking for, but now we bring to your attention a job opportunity. You read it right, ESN Iași has started a collaboration with VEO.

You may ask yourself who VEO is. Well, VEO is a Romanian founded company that deals with international trade business involved in countries like Germany, Italy, France, Russia and many others. In Romania, they have headquarters in different cities like Iași, Brașov, București and Constanța, but they are also present in Chișinău as well.

Being a big company, they are always looking for new talents, no matter the professional background, and this is where it can spark your interest.

If you are about to finish University or you are following a Master’s degree (or you have time for an 8h/day job) and you speak English and Italian/German/Russian, then you are the perfect fit for the position that they are looking to fill, which is: International Trade Specialist.

The day of an International Trade Specialist involves identifying stock and negotiating with suppliers, preparing the purchase files, concluding and tracking offers and, most importantly, maintaining a good relationship with the suppliers. But don't worry, you will be doing all of these after training offered by the best of VEO. Sounds good, huh?

To make it even more exciting, VEO is holding a recruitment event at Ramada on 14-15th of May, where besides the interviewing part, there will be workshops and training meant for the recruiters to spot valuable qualities amongst the applicants. All you have to do to take part in it is to fill out this form: https://forms.gle/76RMskSNMswrzkDT6

Our advice is not to sleep on the opportunity of building the perfect career for you and start practicing your negotiation skills.
